Welcome back!
A warm welcome back to all of our families, colleagues and friends here at Oliver Goldsmith School. We hope you all had a restful summer and that you are ready for the new academic year!
There are a few points that we would like to remind you about:
- Please ensure that your child attends school every day, on time (08:45am) and that they are dressed in the correct uniform and suitable footwear. If there are any issues with this, please speak to a member of staff, so we can see what we can do to help.
- Please ensure that you inform us of any changes to your contact details (address, telephone, email etc.) so that we can update your child’s record and so that you can receive information from us accordingly.
- Please let us know if your child has a medical condition or allergy so that we can liaise with health professionals and put care plans in place for your child.
- If there is an issue at any point, please speak to your child’s class teacher, in the first instance and if the matter is not resolved, please ask to speak to member of the senior leadership team. If the matter is still not resolved, you can ask for a meeting with the Head Teacher. If this also fails to improve things, you can request a meeting with the Chair of Governors. However, it is our hope that all issues can be resolved by class staff.
