Trip to Southwark Cathedral

What a wonderful day Year 4 had at Southwark Cathedral. They were able to dress up as Romans and Celts to explore their beliefs about Gods and religion, create a laurel wreath (which was a sign of Roman triumph)     and become archaeologists while digging for clues about Roman way of life. Best of all, everyone had the opportunity to make their own mosaic from scratch out of clay and glass tiles. The children who attended were all brilliantly behaved, showed off all of their excellent learning and were a credit to the school!
