We’re Going On A Bear Hunt!
Hope you are all keeping well! The children have been very busy this week going on a bear hunt! We have been role playing the story and enjoying being bears. We have been making a big story map and stick puppets to retell the story in their own words. You can enjoy the story at home with you child by clicking on the link below.
In maths, the children have been learning about tens frames and exploring addition and subtraction up to 10.

Home learning is now being given out every Friday. We kindly ask that you return this by Wednesday to enable us to mark it and put the new homework in the books. Next week, we will be having the story of ‘We’re Going On A Leaf Hunt’.
Here are some photographs of this week’s lovely learning! Children were amazing during our two minute silence on Monday as part of Remembrance Day. Throughout the day, the children were inspired to make poppies, as a mark of remembrance.
Hope you have a lovely weekend ahead!
Regards,
The Reception Team
